What Do You Do With An Idea? by Kobi Yamada

- An Idea Comes To Life! -

Kobi Yamada takes us through the stages of coming up with an idea until the idea is shared with the world. The only object of color in the book is the depiction of an idea: a golden circle with bird legs wearing a crown.

One day a boy has an idea. He hasn’t a clue where it came from or what to do with it. He tries to ignore it and act like it doesn’t belong to him, but it follows him. He wonders what others might think or say about his idea, so he tells no one. But for some magical reason, the idea makes him feel happier when it’s around. It begins to grow because of the boy's nurturing and acceptance. He even shows it to other people, some like it and some say it’s no good and weird.

What will become of his new friend? Idea.
