15 things NOT to do with a Puppy by Margaret McAllister

 - This One Is Sure To Have Kids Laughing -

- Certain Things Should Absolutely Never Ever Be Done With A Puppy! -

Two children are excited about getting a new puppy. An unseen narrator warns that puppies have lots of energy. The narrator continues with warnings regarding things that shouldn't be done with a puppy.

Here are some examples: hang-glide, let her have the remote control, teach her to play the tuba, let her help garden, and take her to the library. Near the end is a two-page spread of DOs. Do love her, play with her, feed her, etc., and you will soon be very good friends.

The illustrations were created with watercolor, pencil, and "printed" textures.

My Thoughts

What Concerned Me: It lacked a little something to make it stand out.

What I Liked Most: Because the situations with the puppy are fairly outrageous, I can see little ones giggling over this story.
