I Am Famous by Tara Luebbe and Becky Cattie

Do Famous Little Girls Make Mistakes?

This little girl knows she is famous. And how is she so sure of that? She dresses like an actress, a singer, and a dancer. Plus her daddy says she’s a diva, though she’s not sure what that means.

How long has she been famous? Since she’s been born, of course! She’s received plenty of attention wherever she goes. She even has her own chef, driver, and housekeeper (Mom). She has a fan club (Grandma, who spoils her with letters), and all her movies (posted by Mom, of course) go viral.

But one day when she is performing at her grandpa’s birthday party something goes wrong. . . very, very wrong. Will she fall from stardom?

My Thoughts

What Concerned Me:

What I Loved Most:
This is a cute book that little girls are sure to love. While she is very self-confident and pretty much all about herself due to being surrounded by loving people, she is also vulnerable to being human and making mistakes. The illustrations and text work beautifully together.
