Ocean Meets Sky by Terry and Eric Fann

-A Magical Trip To A Special Place -

Finn reminisces about his grandfather on what would have been his ninetieth birthday. He looks out the window as he remembers stories his grandfather told him about a place far away where the ocean meets the sky.

What better way to honor his grandfather and their memories together than for Finn to build a boat? A boat they had once talked about. However, since boat building is hard work for a young boy, Finn takes a short nap in the boat after finishing it. When he wakes he is gently rocking in the ship. It seems the journey by boat to discover where the ocean meets sky has begun.

He meets a golden fish, which leads him through various beautiful islands, he crosses a sea of moon jellies dancing,
"But then Finn's eyes filled with wonder. Had he finally reached the place of his grandfather's stories? The magical place where ocean meets sky?"
The illustrations, which are rendered in graphite and colored digitally, are captivating.
