Click, Clack, Quack to School! by Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin

- When Duck Is Involved, It's Always An Adventure -

“On Monday, Duck brought a letter to Farmer Brown. Some of it was written in crayon.”
It was a typewritten invitation to visit Dinkelmeyer Elementary School and said to
"Bring the animals, too!"
Farmer Brown informs his animals of the news. The cows are excited, but he then warns them that school is a very quiet place, so they need to control their stomping and mooing. One by one he lets the animals know that they will be going to school but they need to remain calm since school is a place where you don't really make noise.

When he gets to Duck, Farmer Brown finds him meditating on a yoga pillow. But still, the farmer warns Duck not to be Duck-y. (If you find yourself new to this series, Duck is pretty much the ringleader of this group of fun farm animals.)

When the big day arrives the animals are working on holding down their excitement as they pull up to the school.  But what they find is anything but what they expect to see there.

My Thoughts

What Concerned Me: Though this probably isn't my favorite book in the series, it is still very cute.

What I Liked Most: This is such a fun series. If you haven't read any of these books, I'd recommend picking them up, but start at the beginning, since you need to get a feel for Duck and his antics.
