The Forgetful Knight by Michelle Robinson

 - Does The Narrator Know How This Story Goes? -

The narrator seems to have trouble getting facts straight, so he is constantly changing the story when it doesn’t sound quite believable.

Told in rhyming verse, this fun story goes from silly to sillier.

While on a quest to find the dragon, the knight stumbles across a dark cave where he needs to search for the dragon.
"He grabbed his phone, he dialed home.
Said, 'Mommy, help! I’m all alone!'
No, no! He was too bold for that,   I’m sure he would have fought that . . . cat?
I mean . . . dragon."

This humorous story comes complete with a fun ending that will leave kids chuckling.
